Red Desert Interiors is a UK-based interior design studio, founded by me, Safaa Ayyoub. I have a degree in Architectural Engineering and have spent over 9 years in high-end boutique interior design. Originally from Jordan, the colourful and boisterous city of Bristol is now my home.

Full interior design service
Working in close collaboration with you, you’ll receive a fully bespoke design that reflects your vision and style. It all starts with a spatial layout, creating colour palettes and specifying materials, furniture, lighting and accessories, all while keeping to your budget. The following services are included, but it is possible to pick and choose what you require; I can build a service that works for you.
Consultation
All of my work starts with consultation. For some that is enough. This process allows me to listen to your ideas, what you want to achieve with your spaces. A consultation could be focused on one or more of the following: spatial planning, colour schemes, materials, window dressing... the list goes on! It can be ideal for someone who is looking for advice and an experienced eye.
FF&E (Furniture, fixtures, and equipment)
I can help generate a furniture and lighting plan and provide you with a “shopping list”, where you purchase the items yourself, or, where applicable, I order the items for you so you can take advantage of my trade discount. The items put forward would take into account your taste, how you wish to live in the space, and budget.
Tailor-Made Solutions
If you need built in units, curtains, restoring existing furniture, I can design bespoke solutions specially to suit you and your space. I’ve met some wonderful and extremely talented creatives in Bristol and elsewhere in the UK, so I can commission carpenters, upholsterers and metal workers and fabric specialists for curtains, cushions and upholstery, all of which helps to create interiors that feel tailor-made.
